Safeguarding means protecting people's right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. It is about working together to prevent and reduce risks of harm, while ensuring that the individual's wellbeing is promoted and their views, wishes, and feelings are respected.

How to Report a Concern

If you have a safeguarding concern about a resident at Glenister Gardens, it is important that you report it. Concerns can be raised by anyone — residents, family members, staff, or visitors.

• Speak to a member of staff — Any member of the Glenister Gardens team can receive a safeguarding concern and will ensure it is passed to the appropriate person.
• Contact the Senior Leadership Team — The senior leadership team are responsible for overseeing safeguarding within the home.
• Contact the official provider — For formal safeguarding reports, please contact Comfort Care Services directly.
• Contact your local authority — You can also raise concerns with your local authority adult safeguarding team.
